After a lengthy qualification process, the medical supplier reported significant productivity improvements due to greater consistency of cast. As a result of the significant productivity savings and reliable delivery results, the guidewire manufacturer replaced the incumbent medical wire supplier with 100% Sumiden Wire material. In order to provide further support, Sumiden Wire maintains an inventory maintenance program to ensure uninterrupted supply.

An international airbag manufacturer was experiencing severe load variation with another wire supplier and brought wire samples to Sumiden engineers for analysis. Sumiden determined the wire was produced using incorrect drawing practice resulting in stress cracking in the surface of the wire. This automotive supplier specified Sumiden Wire as the only source for all air bag production.
